Machines like the one shown on the right were used to pick up average size houses and carry them to new locations. This type of machine was called a House Mover.
On the left is TRINITY memorial church. It was also moved to a new location ... stone by stone. It was completely dismantled piece by piece and everything was carefully mapped and labelled.
Later, it was reassembled at its new location in Riverside Heights, just east of Morrisburg.
