Here you can see the old lock at the extreme left hand side of the first picture. The new lock is being excavated and built to the right of it.

The dam as is the extreme right hand side. The American side was built first. You can see the cofferdam surrounding the Canadian side as it's still under construction.

There's a large area of land being excavated off the mainland above the dam. This section of land restricted the flow through the dam too much and was removed.
