Here we see the dam under construction. The two tall things that look like overgrown houses are cranes that move back and forth the dam on tracks.

They are used to move various equipment that is required on a hydro electric dam.

To the right is part of the cement plant set up on site to build the dam. Today, it's the parking lot.

In the background are the bases for the two huge towers that suspend the power lines across the river to New York.
